I pick up the new caravan (1750 kg) on Friday, lots of big hills... Good test.
I don't monitor egts hardly at all.
Was running 26 psi.

Sorry guys i was in the wrong. I got the information mixed up. My fault. Disclaimer, i did say i could be wrong, as i was not 100% sure. Very apologetic to everyone.

I picked up the caravan on Friday. Truck went very well. Where I would have done 55 km/hr and EGT at 550, I now pass some trucks doing 80 km/hr and EGT at 480. I am happy with that as it was a 34 degree day.

I got a Tillix valve in the system. I put it that way because before the remap it was like gu2 puts it, coming on very fast. Since the remap, it still comes on quite fast but is much more progressive. Now the boost brings on power, before it was just that...boost.

I had housing digitally profiled last week, so it will cut a day from assembly time.
My cnc dudes have the program now for both compressor covers, and turbine housings.

Are custom turbine housings in the pipeline ? Or are you having the standard ones cnc machined for the hi-flow ?

Marty was talking about developing something that should be "better all over the place" but as he said there is a line with other engines taking priority.

UFI Turbo upgrade tuned by andy at diesel tec. Very safe tune, not alot more power but noticeable on rolling hills. Maybe 1 to 1.5 gears higher on hill. Crd

Mods are
3 inch exhaust
Snorkel safari
Cross Country intercooler ultimate
Remap
Running 285 75 16 muds ( andy told me it world have been around 120kw at the wheels if running ats)

EarlyConclusion be honest with myself i think i world have been happy with just a remap. I need to learn how to drive it a gain as currently avg 18lph, (im used to floor it every where and avg 15 lph) now only need 1/3 to 1/2 of the go peddle now

My second tune was close to this power figure. Torque was lower.

Thanks mate, yes sorry I have been a bit out of touch, should have dug up this thread to ask.
Coming home after Easter, will have the newly built motor but no turbo yet. So I have been hoping you lot would be testing and improving in the meantime.
