This is my first one. TB42 on LPG. Racing seats, sports steering wheel. Mickey Thompson 285/75/16's. 2" suspension lift and 2" body lift. 350 000 km's. I loved this one. I'll miss it :(

And its final day

And the new (for me) one TB42 on LPG. 2" suspension lift and 32" BFG MT's

Plans are to pull my winch bar off, fit my winch, spotties on the top, my mickey T muds, racing seats, steering wheel and a decent sound system.

Its called teenage stupidity. Every day i wake up wishing that day hadn't of happened.

The pics dont show it but theres a bunch of ruts, i hit one of them trying to drift... with 2" suspension, 2" body and 33" tyres... Real smart idea.

Very pissed off at myself. And Very heartbroken. Worked for nearly 2 years during school holidays (6 days a week) in a wrecking yard to pay for it and the lifts/LPG/wheels..

Guess we all have to learn from our experiences... i just wish i hadn't of watched $6000-$7000 turn to scrap metal in a few seconds.

or to just buy a syline when trying to drift on dusty paddocks ;) as you will have a hard time getting an exo cage road legal

yeah in the whole car , what sort of dollars you want for it ? and you dont even need to put all thos bits back in, can leave the body unbolted and all

Got some more pics of the white one now. It has koni adjustable shocks and king springs.

Just some poser flex shots

With swaybars

Without rear swaybar

Still trying to see if theres any real difference . I believe that the wheel offset is stopping the car from flexing to well.

Yeah not a fun experience. Had my licence a whole 4 months..

Yeah hayden live and learn. Drifting is for cars not slow old fourby's lol.

White one has a few extras. Power windows, sunroof and a hydralic clutch. Yet still no LSD :(

So I finally got to do my dual battery kit

I'm just going to post what I had to do and what items I used.

IT TOOK ME 9 HOURS!

Piranha GQ Diesel battery tray
2 x Bussman 50A manual reset circuit breaker
Bussman 100A glass fuse kit
Baintech VSR
Matson Cable and lugs
2 x Optima D27M (used due to high starting capacity)
4 x New terminals
2 x Red 50A Anderson Plugs

Being a petrol, to make the tray fit I had to move the coil and most of the intake pipe. The tray still didn't fit to well due to the charcoal canister and its metal line.

Next was running new cables. I made up a new earth cable on my starter battery because I hated the small original cable. Used the biggest cable we had. I ran 6 gauge cable for the VSR due to the bolts on the VSR wouldn't take a bigger lug size. The VSR is mounted to the side of the aux battery tray. The bussman glass fuse is going onto the cable from the starter battery to the VSR, as it is the longest cable.

Next was running the cable to the anderson plugs. I didn't really need two anderson plugs but did it simply so I had it the fourby set up for all towing situations. I used 6 gauge cable from the starter battery to the rear, where I placed the 50A circuit breaker. Easier to split the cable into 2, and I made a mis-judgement but such is life, its not a bad thing but not really necessary. I will be putting another circuit breaker near the starting battery.

Relatively straight forward, but making up each individual cable is time consuming. I have a 0.1V drop from the front to the back. But I will check why .

I picked the optima's because they put out alot of cranking capacity, and still a decent amp hour. Mainly going to be used for winching and maybe a fridge.

Firstly I added in a baintech power board where the jack used to be. Because it has a circuit breaker and a cigerate socket for a fridge.

Had to cut the top of the jack bracket

And some pics from today

I'm alright with the rear flex at the moment, just the front does not flex one bit. I do run both swaybars but I can't see them limiting that much

I don't run a front swaybar anymore. But if I go any higher or body lift this one then I will be.

The only reason I don't have a front swaybar is now it's alot nicer to drive on the road. Less bouncy, but thats because the shocks are due for replacing.

Updates.. Well before going to the forum meet up i sent the car to a gas specialist, which the car got serviced, cleaned carby new leads new plugs and a new coil.. as it was surging on lpg, and running rich on petrol. $500 later I Take it home. That night it starts missing, the next day it wont run on gas but will on petrol.. gets worse over the weekend to the point of backfiring and missing. take it back on monday and it turns out my electronic ignition wasn't earthed properly (yet it worked for 3 months prior to me sending it there) and blew the crane XR700 unit. So now a points dizzy is back in. And I drive away again after spending another $500 and now my autometer tacho doesn't work. And the miss is back.

Now some pics from cruiser park. I went out with Crazyclown and guzzlers alot. Have kept there pics out because of number plates and photobucket isnt working the way i want.

Okay time for a update. Don't have pics but some things have happened.

Went out to scenic rim, in the creek bed ran over a huge rock, ended up destroying my rear steering arm, extractors and cooked the motor. Almost rolled down a hill . Luckily a tree stopped me. Dented both my gaurds. So a frustrating experience. Ending with me getting towed home by Yannik.

After spending every night back at work over the week before christmas, the car now has the motor from my red SWB, A decent clutch, had a wheel alignment. And now feels like a whole new car. Sway bar is back on from a experience with the police.. Stiffened it right up.

Got a new set of HID spotties, waiting on rocklights for it.

And I'll take some pics this weekend.
