Some jerk stole it, and after checking Nissan for the price I can now see why. Anybody out there tell me where to find one - I've been all over central and eastern Panama looking for it. It's the manual switch assembly on the wheel hub. It has 31 splines and is on an 1.25 inch axle shaft. Also need the screws and bolts.
Thank you.

I've heard lots of stories that the AVM hubs aren't all that strong....
Correct me if i'm wrong, it's just what i have read from other forums, etc...

i have heard mixed stories about them. some say not good, some say better than the nissan ones? not sure but they cheap enough that if they bust or get nicked like this guy, just get more:)

AVM are good enough for weekend wheelers but are no good for comps. I'd smash one each comp when I had them on so needless to say I put genuine nissan ones back on real quick.

The use I put them through would probably not be a major problem. I don't climb rocks at 90 degrees, etc. :) Just Panama mud and a few slippery hills.
The price here for those hubs through Nissan is $384 before tax and that don't include the stolen bolts.
Thanks again,
Bob

Hey buddy, maybe you forgot Í'm also here in Panama. I have a spare hub. I run AVM hubs and keep the oem ones as spares since the lock automatically and I have a very tight LSD in front. Thatīs why I changed to full manuals with no auto setting. Anyways I have a third oen which I can sell to you cheap. If interested, drop me a line to mario.justiniani@scotiabank.com or call me @66735513.
