hi all,
lately it's been fun up here in nth qld playing in the mud and the tracks are halfed washed away in places and i have been hereing lots of bangs and cluncks as i drag the chassis along the ruts, SO , i was wondering what you guys have made or bought to protect vital bits like sump fuel tanks etc.
any tips appreciated.
thanks forum love your work, Morry.

shouldn't be a worry, very rare to hear of a patrol sump getting punctured.... they are pretty strong underneath, all i have heard of is underbody protection collecting crap in it

awesome, good to hear. thanks.i still will look into it, cause i like to drive inthe favour of momentum! and kinda leads to big bouncing and scraping!

i agree, probably if you cared more for your car than i do, you might look at underbody protection, but i haven't broken anything yet, so haven't worried, although i must say that i do have dints in my chassis rails, and anything that is sticking out from the chassis is generally bent to some extent.
But it all still work perfectly

nice! i know what you mean my petrol tank is bent right up and the chassis has scrape marks all along but that's what it's made for right? people that don't like to actually use their 4x4's are an annoyance and seem to be always being pulled out cause they drive to soft! haha hopefully no one here does these things!
