snorkel and cyclone filter

hey guys

I just pulled a safari snorkel off a td42 and am fitting it to a tb42. the snorkel didn't use the pre cleaner so its got a long flex hose and i was wondering if i could turf the cyclone filter and go straight to the main air cleaner. thought it'd be ok as it is getting clean air from the snorkel and the ram head separates water now.

I don't have a snorkle but I can tell you that not running through the cyclone filter does it no harm at all.

do you drive much in harsher conditions? ie: dusty roads, water crossings

No mate, 99% highway but when I have the time and money I will fit a snorkle and bypass the cyclone.
