BULLBARS: gloss powder coated or hammertone??

hi everyone, i have an arb winch bar on my gq, its looking a bit worse for wear these days so im gettting it powder coated next week, i have the option of either a semi gloss black finish or a silver / black hammertone finish, im leaning towards the hammertone, what do you reckon?

any pics of some hammertone on your 4b's would be good to see.

p.s. i have black nissan flares for it, but took em off cuz they needed a respray from the last 4b trip, and a silver fairlead for my winch too.

u can get hammertone in powder coat, its soooo durable. look at my members thread.

don't use a gloss finish, it will show a lot, i went a matt black,

mate go the hammertone the silver black goes very well with the silver gq you have.

i have black powder coating on my sliders and that has rubbed off more easily than the hammertone on my front bar.

i did my custom trailer in that silver black hammertone

Mate the hammertone is definately more durable. I had my sliders done in the silver/black and they look pretty good.

just to clarify, it is actually the odd goldy / silver colour, not even sure what to call it, but under the sun looks more gold than silver....

also, as for looking good, haha i took that pic just after i washed it which was 10 min before i put this thread up cuz all my other ones are when its dirty from 4b ing. haha. i think thats the cleanest it has ever looked actually.
