G'Day

Ok, am getting bit tired of the old "Switching" Process from Fuel to Gas on the old GQ. Basically, I want to look at dumping the Carbie in favour of Fuel Injection.

The biggest question, is what do I need to do (particularly with the Gas set up, Sprint Gas Electronically Controlled) to make the conversion. Would I be better off with finding inlet manifolds etc off a GQ 4.2 Injected or is there any aftermarket options.

Thanks for any help!

And Merry Christmas!

Cheers

Hi Mate , You Need To Change The Inlet Manifold , Dizzy , Fit An Efi Fuel Pump Which Is In The Tank, Fit A Wiring Harnes And Computer, Fit An Oxygen Sensor In The Exhuste.

The main question is Why!!, especially if you read the forum relating to EFI fuel consumption. Remember that a car with a carby and points is alot easier to service and maintain, even if it is more labour intensive. Also, if you have a few spares and a bit of knowledge you have a better chance at dealing with off road breakdowns. Just my 2c worth...
