Hey there, I was wondering if youse know of any steel bullbars for my GQ which aren't too big.

I basically want radiator protection and spottie mounts. I don't care about winches - I have a hand winch.

The best option I know of is a Cheezy Bar. they claim it weighs only 31kg.

I would appreciate any input - thanks

Hi. Ive seen what looked like a normal ARB steel bar that had all the round bars cut off except the middle section. Looked preaty good. Its on one of the gq's inthe photo section. ave a look

I Fitted A Second Hand Alloy Bar That Looks Like A Black Arb Bar. You Can Pick It Up With One Hand. I Hit A Roo At 110 Clicks At Christmas Coming Back From Qld With No Damage. Trouble Is It Took Me A Couple Of Years Scanning Trading Post To Find One.

have a look at the procomp web site. they have the FAT bar (freedom automotive technology) its about $1200. similar in looks to the cheezy bar (copetition style) better looking in my opinion! we will be getting one as soon as funds permit. only problem is they are made only for a patrol with 2" body lift. if you ring the builder he may make you one for no body lift. he lives in bright i think!

Mate,

I just got a F.A.T bar fitted to my GQ on the weekend. Their built really well and super strong and have a bash plate built in. They arn't cheep but worth every cent. :cup: Even if you don't want to fit a winch at the moment it would better to get a bar that can fit one just in case you change your mind later.

Forgot to mention they suit vehicles with body lift and NO body lift
