Fan belts for td42

Does anyone know the correct sizes for the 3 belts for a gq, picked up belts from supercheap today and guess what they are the wrong size, you would need to be Arnie to get these suckers over the pulleys.

had the exact same problem the other day. bought 3 belts from supercheap, except the alternator belt was the only winner, the other two were much too short.
Went to nissan, they had none there and told me to try repco... a mate bought his belts from repco and all 3 were incorrect size..
It seems there are quite a few belt sizes for the TD42..

bosch belts seem to be like this. i got one "the same size" as my alternator one when i had to replace it, ended up having to go a fair bit longer. just ask them if you can try them out. the number on the end of the belt is the length in mm. so a bosch say 5pk1320 is 1320mm long. just find the correct length and either keep the packet or make a note for next time.

I decided to do some searching on the net for belts, as the belts sold by supercheap are bosch belts I googled them and got onto their size list.

The correct size for Power steering is 13A 1270
Alternator is 13A 1145
Airconditioning is 13A 0955

Anyway supercheap exchanged them no questions asked and the new ones fit perfectly. I will make sure I have part numbers before going there again.

Goodaye all,i replaced my standard belts with Gates belts from a Diesel spares place in Burpengary not s'posed to break apparently haven't had any prob's with fitting sizes or breakages.

Some additional info I found - which may indicate that if you get the correct belt you will be lucky.

From a Dayco catalogue:

For Maverick TD42 Feb 88 - Sep 93
Power Steering : 13A1250LA
Alternator : 13A1155
Airconditioning : 13A0980

For Patrol TD42 Feb 88 - Dec 97
Power Steering : 13A1270
Alternator : 13A1140LA
Airconditioning : 13A0965 (Jap Compressor), 13A0975 (Local Compressor)

Belts that I purchased from Nissan for my Mav were actually Dayco belts
Power Steering : 13A1255B (Nissan P/N 11950-06J00)
Alternator : 13A1145
Airconditioning : ?

The A/C belt supplied was way too long when I went to install it, and I ended up with a Dayco 13A0915, but my A/C system may have been added here as the install is a little different to what I have seen in all other GQs.
