Tips on Places to See?

In my previous post(Tag Along) I stated I was going to do the Gunbarrel Hwy, Oodnadatta Trk and Strezleki Trk on my way to Canberra and was wondering if anyone can give me locations of hot spots along the way that are worth visiting/viewing? If you have GPS points even better, means I don't have to rely on the wife's navigations skills. Any must sees that you know of, would be greatly appreciated.....
