Not bad, bet you washed it this morning.. Hmmm is that a bit of gold pin stripe near the snorkel?
The lights in the rear bar turned out good, must do mine now.
Oh yeah you have my panhards!!!! Bastard....anything else you wanna borrow, rear wheel carrier maybe, bullbar mounts, no probs. I fitted your rock sliders to mine last night or should I say this morning

those reversing lights look schmick, the way you have placed them, what sort of lights did you use? and do they light up to the sides much, or just straight back?

Very tidy truck. Was there much work in lifting the rear bar to suit the bodylift?

From what I saw it took a few hours with a MIG. Basically slice off the old mount and reattach it 50mm down and add some reinforcement. Had it freshly powder coated too.

Thanks, they are just elcheapo spread beams. They are not wired up yet so I have no idea how much light they put out.

Fit shocks
How did she ride before you got shocks? sway bars would have been earning their keep :P
Anyway, sounds like you had a productive day, always good to have the mates there to help drink the beer, i mean feed the cables.
any plans for an on/off switch in the cab so the winch cant be shorted into operation from the socket on the bar? Or is that not possible? (i wonder if the myth is true about pulling the winch cable out over the car, hooking to rear bar, shorting winch with paperclip and squishing car?)

Yep the old shocks weren't matched to the new coils, so it made for an interesting ride. Now with a full EFS setup it’s fantastic.
Always good when one on your mates is an autoelec and the other is a mechanic. One job I left off is we advanced the timing. Makes a huge difference to gear changes,
I already have a winch isolation switch courtesy of the Rotronics dual battery system. Yes it’s true that with the 3 pin winches you can run them by shorting the pins out. The new 5 pin jobs are a bit harder.

Hi,
Great looking slider steps. Exactly what i want/need. Where did you get them, or are they customs? Tried three local engineering places and they don't want to know about it. I nearly bought a black Maverick myself, but got a white LWB instead (suits our purposes better). Keep up the updates, will watching out for them.

Can't remember where I got the lights from sorry. They work ok in the bush but they are a little low, better than the standard reversing lights. I had the bar powder coated as it was blue when I bought it. I have a 3" EFS lift and run 34" JT2's
