Hey all

I have a simple question as I have lost the owners manuel? but on start up there are two lights one for the glow plugs and the other is for ...? is it an indicator for water in the filters or what?

I have been through a bit of water and stuffed the alternator, which I am going to pull apart and try and salvage it but the other light is worring me and can't seem to find what it is in the gergory book as I said I can't find the manul.

Cheers

yep the yellow (i think ) is for when there is water in the fuel filter and it normally comes on when the ignition is on but not yet started or when it is full of water and motor is running
there is also a red one,a vacume sensor hooked up to let you know if your air cleaner is blocked, at least there is or was on mine , that went when the turbo went on

The two yellow lights on the left side of instrument panel are for glow plugs and water in fuel. This takes its signal from a switch in the bottom of the fuel filter. Always wait till the glow plug light goes out before starting engine.
