Hi All, I have been out of the 4x4 scene for about 2 years and now it's time to come back.

I'm looking at buying a GQ TI with the factory alloy wheels, my question is what is the largest size tyre I can fit with only a 50mm suspension lift, No body lift.

Stock size is 265/70x16 I'm hoping to fit 285/75x16 if I can. The front diff will probably need to move forward (I think) so it doesn't touch the mud flaps.

Gone are the days 6" lifts for me. I want a tourer not a hopper.

Cheers, Andrew

I had that lift and the 285/75 r16 had no problems also its a good tyre size really looks the part. And welcome back on the 4x4 scene.

Thanks g4cube.

I was hoping to hear that. I'm looking at a GQ LWB tomorrow and it needs tyres for a road worthy cert.

With a bit of luck this one is the goods and won't get sold from under me.

Cheers, Andrew
