by sleeving in the outer tube i run a length of 25nb 3.2mm wall tube inside it and weld it in..this basically gives the outer tube a 7.2mm wall meaning it is heaps stromger...

cost is an extra $50 on standard

havent had any problems with the u bolts at all.. i have found them by far the neatest, easiest and strongest way of mounting them..

Default enough room?

Dave I have been told that there is not enough room between the chassis rail and the coach work to get the u-bolts through at the front[I do not have any body lift],is this correct?Check yourPM,is it working?

GQ4U.. i make them as ordered...turnaround time is 5-7 days

Patrol King.. the front mounts on GQs and GUs mount up using the body mount bracket and the middle and rear mounts use the u bolts so per set of sliders there are 4 u bolt mounts and 2 that mount to the body mount bracket

dave..a mate just bought a GU wagon and picks it upi this weekend so i have a guinea pig for the bars now so should have some pics up soon

nathand..no the u bolts go around the chassis ..you have to drill two holes in the plate of the body mount under the drivers seat for the front mount of the sliders..there is three mounts per side..2 ubolts and the front plate..so basically you need to only drill 4 holes to fit them up and they are not through the chassis

GU Patrol tube sliders by 80lsy gq.

They look great on the truck and as strong as you can get a slider with out the 100kg of weight!!

Hay Dave I am getting comments about the sliders all over the place. Everyone loves them

Cheers,
