Default Looking at buying a GQ with rust

Hi everyone

I'm looking at buying a GQ which has great specs but the only issue is that it has a fair amount of rust in the roof. I've had a few quotes of around $1500 to fix the rust but I'm concerned that it will just keep coming back or there's is a lot more that hasn't appeared yet.

I'm just wondering what you guys think about it - is it worth buying the car and spending the money on the repairs and hoping it doesn't come back or is it going to be a continuous issue and I'm getting myself a rust bucket?

Cheers!!

The rust is pretty well established and there will be a lot more inside the roof triple skin,if the

mechanicals are what you want, you would have to get it r e a l cheap and re-shell it.I looked

at one like that about 4 yrs ago and passed, the roof has probably fallen off by now.

Cheers,G.
