Default Camper Box

So after threats, hahaha, from a certain forum member who gave me hand today I've started this thread.
I started a camper box 12 months ago and a few wondered what the frame that appears on my ute occasionally was, well it was a way to get the awning on side of ute with a future use for camping.
Today it moved a big step closer with the external sheeting done, still to finish the door on rear, draws, fridge mount, stove mount and electrics.
Pics to follow tomorrow
And a big thanks to Thrasher and Rhys90, even though Thrasher turned up in a hairdressers car

Where was my invite? Did you supply beer for once? We could have had a hairdresser's car gathering...

Well he sort of supplied beer, even quality beer. But lucky you didn't turn up, there wasn't enough beer for both of us. As it was I had to leave at 3pm because the tight arse ran out of beer

Mind you, he didn't get a lot done, the kiwi could talk underwater with a mouthful of marbles, which slows his work rate down like you.

This thread is worthless without pics, I will help the poor kiwi out, digital technology still confuses him. I am sure his mrs must turn his computer on for him.

You will notice the yard looks like a setting from Steptoe and Son, and a head only a mother could love.

What are you gonna put on the wings of the box? Seems like a waste of space at the moment. Prove me wrong!

Yeah so Dave had his fun, hardest work he's done all year as like him his jod is a bit of an oxymoron, safety for black fella outfit.
Gave it a run down trip last 3 days, station country chasing dogs, too bloooooooooody hot with no aircon! Just getting old eh
Kimba sides get a frame for spare wheels, recovery gear, Jerry cans, gas bottle, already has toolbox for recovery gear and a rather sad 35 after yesterday.
Next step is a blody window! Too hot on 40+ day with no airflow.
I'm away for next month so will get it cleaned out tomorrow and that will be about all

Wrong if I wanted it wider I would have, wide enough for camping gear, bed, rifle and me
For playing on some of the stations I shoot on don't need the width or weight.
Hence the name is a camper box not camper

Next one will be full size pop top, well one day

Haha, they need a belt driven compressor, hence why I thought ute, I don't need aircon to sleep just some airflow that's why it will get a window and roof vent
