i hear Total traction drivelines in Moorabbin are good, from an 80 owern tho...

i'd avoid a few but can't mention the names mostly because they are run by tools and cash hungry w@nkers.

Exhaust - Go to an exhaust place and cut out the middle man. or Beaudesert kit and fit yourself in a few hours.

Suspension - PM Suspension Stuff off this board and fit yourself, save a willion$ and cut out the middle man.

Tires - Go play a few tire places against eachother, and again cut out the middle man.

Servicing - Shame Total4x4 aint there anymore

i saw a spring over 60 conversion that they did, which was ok other than they had not measured the angles correctly and it had to be redone by the owner.....

Honestly, it would be a good lesson on startin to work on ya own truck. you dont wanna get 'out there' and have it **** itself and have no idea where to start.

This is very basic account of how I've done em in past.

Shocks 1 nut top and 1 bottom - shocks are off. x 4
Springs
to remove - depends on what lift your doing,
jack up car,
remove wheels.
Car stands under now.
undo panhard rods
let diff drop, watch spring fall out make loud bang - if they dont, get mate to stand on end of diff to make then drop out.

to replace - you can either use a spring compressor which you can hire from kennards (never had to use one on 2-3inch lift)which does as it says, you slide it into the spot where your old springs were undo compressor, and springs are in
bolt everything back up

Replace shocks and rubbers and drive away.

I got the 5" EFS lift through them and I love it.
