Default Drop down fridge slides

I'm thinking of getting a drop down fridge slide. It's not easy getting into the fridge with a 5 inch lift, drawers and 35's. What are peoples opinions and are MSA the only one making them?

Well worth the $$. We have a side by side draw setup so with out the drop slid it would make it a bithc to use.

I'm sure there are other companies that make them but the MSA locks when it is extended out, I've heard some others don't which would be a PITA

A google search was only coming up with the MSA ones. I don't mind my current draw setup and even modifying them, it's still reasonably high.

Also just read that some bags may affect the operation of the slide. I have a Engel 40 litre. Reviews on this would be good also.

Mines a 60lt engel and the travel cover (bag) doesn't worry it.

A 40lt Engel with a bag fits on the MSA DS40 and clears no problems.

I am told that the drop down slides are annoying as they rattle loudly.
You might want to find out about this before you make your decision.

Cheers

Me either, the MSA has a twist lock that locks firmly and it is a keylock

I have just recently installed a DS40 and it rattles a bit. Fridge is near empty but, maybe this is a reason, only 5 cans of bundy in it

When I put my drawers in, SWMBO said only if I get a drop slide, so she could reach the fridge. Luckily I found one on Gumtree for $200 & it doesn't rattle.

Good luck. I went to our local show and all they were offering were some tinny tubes thrown in (about $30 worth). I didn't worry about the hassell of it, got one delivered with my drawers, at a better all up price.

the only time that mine rattles is on corigated roads, and it not the 'slide' thats rattleing, its the handle taping against the slides

but if the fridge starts rattling, there is pleanty of other stuff in the car that also starts rattling
