Yeah, only looking for the moment. I'm going to replace the GQ this time next year when my company car lease runs out. They'll pay me an allowance so I'll have them finance my next 4WD. I'm just looking at what options are about in case Mr Nissan-san comes up with an IFS patrol to replace the GU. Of course this all depends on me actually still having a job this time next year. If not, they'll be burying me in the old GQ!

took the 33's off and put the 31's back on so it's legal again with the 50mm lift.

changed front pads.

then today tried to get the fule pump reset back to factory setting but the stupid diesel shop said they wouldn't touch anything that had been using bio. ( they have rebuilt about 4 fuel pumps and lots of injectors all on bio in the past.) fine i'll take my money elsewhere.

just gotta find a bio friendly diesel place now.

From discussions with the RTA Technical people today, if your vehicle is legal right now, it'll stay legal, modifications notwithstanding.

This is for modifications and new registrations that occur after 1st August, or whenever you will need a blue slip, such as if you let your rego lapse.

bought new headligth globe to replace the left dead one - I will fit them later this week.
washed it after the weekend
rewound the winch after the weekend
trawled eBay looking for a second battery tray
sat and looked at the vacant spots where the difflock switches would go if I had them.
