You will be amazed how much you will get hung up on the bloody thing. And saying that a h260 is not as strong as people think so the best way to make your diff last is to have abit of momentum before giving it stick

Not planning on it at this stage. If I go larger than 33" it won't go in the bloody garage.

Nah that's not true. The H260 in my ute is from my old 2000 ZD30 wagon

Hadn't thought of ASIC.
At least now I know a bit more about him.

Starting to look a lot like an ADC issue

So the gear turned up last week. Only just got a chance to drop in to the workshop to check it all out. We've had the billet stuff for a while.
The rest took longer than expected but appears to be all there.

Just gotta wait for the trans to be ready (drill and tap end housing and finish assembly) and for the workshop to be clear of a few Y62 projects. Hopefully get some shop time in a couple of weeks.

Finally some actual progress.

Some schmick Ozmax billet there. Seems like nice gear. Good fit with no dramas at all. Nice to see some simple quality additions like sealant grooves in the mating faces. Well done Ant.

"New" h260 getting a full spray can rebuild .

Anyone got a diff Centre to fit it with 4.3 gears?
Also looking for front and rear in 4.1 gears. Anyone got some laying around?

Haha

Is that one that's already been Max'd?

Actually had a couple of productive days this week. Diff housing is back in with new arms.

Fuel tank is out so I can anchor the changed drawer system down. Long range tank will be slotted in later.
Rear coil towers are now braced. Happy days making progress.
Radiator is now in the workshop with the fan cowl all done.

Think we've decided on fuel cooler type and location. We'll start getting that stuff in place next week.
