i think he meant it will be a couple of weeks from the time he gets back on it.. not the time from the phone call.

Ya know Vince you could've had it converted to an LSA/ 6L80 and been wheeling a year ago.... probably less cost too.
Diesels.... good for smoke.

I want one but can't afford it either the money or the effort.

Just out of interest have you seen this on Gumtree.

The color of that head made me think it is one being sold off from you know where. Could be someone quitting their losses and selling their kit.

gday richo.
you know what, i am seriously considering this as an option forward.
over the easter break, i and another fella that has his truck there for some time, managed to catch up with the ADC leaders in their new new factory (which they just acquired that week.)
i think there are 7 trucks there without motors, just sitting there collecting dust. so all work is still being done in lilydale. maybe that has changed in the past 2 weeks.
still no date and not looking like there will be one.just more BS to listen to every visit. i'll give that at least, its fresh BS stories every visit:/

This is not good, Vince. Perhaps you need to get Bird on the case, he is pretty good at coming up with evil plans to achieve good results...

So Vince without reading through pages of stuff the idea was to get a newer duramax / auto and chase more power and fix some prior conversion issues?
Still got the other duramax engine or it is gone?
Put it on a truck to Killa and be done.
I'm sure Cammo could put an LS in it for you too.

I could sell him an RD28 complete with GU Patrol I have one handy. 😉

But he has already done an extended test drive and as expected it doesn't cut it.

Cheers
