Welcome Terleira!

Nice cars, you know Patrols very well. I had a look at your forum, if I join it and write in English can your forum members understand it? (I know most Europeans have two or more languages, unlike us uncultured heathens).

My wife is part Portuguese, you actually have the same look as she does. Look here - you could almost be her brother.

welcome to the forum mate Nice patrols, the colour scheme on the canopy of the 89 Patrol I like... Got a soft spot for those cars hehehe

What kind of engine setup did you get in your GU? Is it 2.8TDi like most European patrols or?

Hi,

Well my 89' Patrol had a SD33 engine, The 94' RD28T and the GUY61 has a ZD30DDTi. I set myself to try it and mod it because it really is an engine with potencial but lacks on reliability .. I enjoy myself finding problems and solving them while spending all my hard earn money .... and wife's patience... jeejej What can i say .. Also, its a Long wheel 5 door auto Patrol. The family has a new member and it need's confort and space.

As for the Patrolaventura.com, yes, we do understand english, french etc.. but it is mandatory to write in portuguese, the language of Luis de Camões . My suggestion is... use google translator and it'll be just fine! After all we want the same i think, input on the Patrol's, pictures, travelling info etc... new friends and an opportunity to mingle.
