Nice MWB. Who did you use to bring the Patrol into the U.S. I eventually want to drive or ship mine back to the States from Guatemala.

Nice truck mate, does it attract much attention of over there? There wouldn't be many GQ's over in seppo land?

Hi,
importing into USA was easy. filled out one customs declaration and proof of ownership and it passed with flying colors. you just have to make sure it is 25 years old. anything newer and it is near impossible to do

Gets of attention. virtually every time you get out of the car someone is asking you what it is and can you get one in the states.
The only downside is that most 4wd clubs are jeep only as they think nothing else can go where a jeep can. But i am showing them otherwise

That's good news! Are the taxes high? I've got a modded out '90 TD42, which I bought with the 25 yr rule in mind. But I read somewhere you can't have any accessories on the vehicle, which I found strange because I've seen some of the land cruiser direct vehicles being imported with goodies on them.

Thanks for the information. Here in Guatemala, the Patrols, 80 series LCs, and Suzuki Samurais are normally waiting for the Jeep owners to catch up

Because I owned and had the vehicle registered in my name I did not pay any tax for it or the accessories

Well the Patrol is a real hit over here in the US. Everywhere you go you are stopped and asked questions. The G60 was the last patrol sold in the USA so people only know Jeeps and land cruisers.

I am displaying the MWB at one of the biggest aftermarket accessories show in the US called SEMA this year to display the LED work lights and lightbars we do for Oz4wd. If you donít know what SEMA is then do yourself a favor and look it up. So I will be tiding the Patrol up over the next few months to look sharp for the show. If anyone has a product they would like me to showcase on the SWB then contact me and I will see what I can do for you.

Hi mate, what's that adapter or intake pipe you have going directly onto the top of the intake manifold.. Was that a custom made adapter? I'm looking at removing my stock airbox on top of that intake port and putting an external one in..

Default Road to SEMA 2016

Last year my company Oz4WD index displayed at SEMA in Nevada. This gave me a chance to drive across the country from Nashville to Las Vegas driving route 66 and visiting monument valley and the Grand Canyon.

The MWB I imported on the older than 25 year rule. The 2005 I purchased in Florida. Not sure how they brought in into the country but it was originally from Venezuela.
