    I don;t know if you got my last message so I'll write it again. I used the original throttle cable which I extended. I cut off the end of the old one and used screw down termination blocks to join the cable together. For the extension I used a bicycle brake cable with the moulded lead end which sit nicely in the throttle disc. The bracket was one I had lying about but it easy to fab up with hand tools. One thing you MUST do is use a second spring for the throttle return as they can stick wide open under full boost. Check out my rig http://www.patrol4x4.com/forum/general-patrol-discussion-17/finally-going-82240/ you can see my throttle setup in the pics. Can I ask what you are doing for timing retard on boost? I ended up using an MSD 6BTM ignition system which I found was the easiest to setup and was the cheapest. Good luck. Make sure you get me some pics as I wold like to see your setup.

    hey mate, me again, i will be going gas research soon, I am getting Motsons motor sport to do it. i am taking care of the air box side of things and the throttle cable. which leads to my question. What Throttle cable are you using? i will have a GRA throttle body on the VL EFI mainfold so would a standard VL throttle cable work?

    Just tell me what you would like to know as i could go on for a while?
    The basics are:
    T04e ebay turbo at 13psi
    34mm turbosmart plumback bov
    2.5" intercooler piping
    Stainless steel manifold
    N/A vl intake manifold with most holes blocked
    XF throttle body adapter welded onto manifold then ported as you have to offset it to clear the rocker cover
    S400 gas research throttlebody. Soon to have water/methanol injection
    Gas research B2 converter with 14mm tap for boost reference
    Apexi front mount cooler

    Thats pretty much all the big stuff that i am running. Any other questions just ask, always happy to help. Where are you located?

    hey mate, I'm keen on some more info on your set up. I'm hopfully getting my truck backeither today or tomorrow from a straight gas conversion and would love to know how your set up works to get those awesome power figures you are getting.
