hi guys anyone used some sound proofing on there bonnet of there gq? any recommendations

Yes mate, Google "Ryda" they sell a dense foam with a sticky back that is made for under bonnet applications. Sticky one side and a real thin layer of aluminium the other. Cheers

I did my bonnet using Dynamat Extreme I had left over. Works fine.

cheers might give that go, ive done most of the body and doors with dynamat but still quite a bit of noise..

How much of the fire wall have you done and drive line tunnel?
I did full body and doors, double.on the fire wall.
And it made a huge difference...
Buy you can still hear the car..
Let's face it we don't drive a prius..
We drive big solid oil burning tanks.. they'll never be quiet

Best sound proofing for a Patrol. Doesn't just quiet down the engine, works on the passengers too!
