Hey all, hey DT, I've just done a cheap rebuild on my rd28eti, one new piston, one new exhaust valve, faced head, honed one cylinder and one reco injector. Boost back to stock.
I was wondering if there is any way to put the Unichip back to factory standard for a bit.. Just for a few hundred k's, and do your rekon I need a retune?
Thanks.

Yes mate there sure is.
Best bet would be to give your local or closest unichip agent a ring. They should be able to give you the pin sequence to bypass the chip mate.
Do you know if its a Q chip or an older D12 chip.
The old chips are a long chip with large white connector on the end.
Newer chips are more square with a smaller black connector on them.

Yep easy done. Its dead simple on the newer chips.

You just join same colours togehter.

White/ Yellow & White.
Blue / Yellow & Blue
Green / Yellow & Green
Black / Yellow & Black.

If you catch my drift, and they are always next to each other in the pin out left to right.

Nope dont cut anything.

If your local to Matt he can supply you with a proper terminating plug. Or at a pinch I have used both split pins and small pieces of wire into the end of the plug once its unplugged.
best of calling him I reckon.

There is a few dealers in perth now I think. Best off just looking on the unichip website for the dealers PH number and phoning around.

i would use the proper bridge plug. There is a power and earth wire next to each other, brown white/red, don't jump them.
