G'day,

one of us west aussies will have to photograph the WAPOL escort Patrols. They're pretty flash looking. Really well kitted out too.

Cop trucks are cool

The riot police trucks in Sydney are awesome, They are series 4 ST's in black with bull bar, dark windows and police decals. But they are for the riot squad.
They look great and they look mean , I have mainly seem them around the rocks area, If i can I will get a pic of one...

mate I know what you mean. I passed them the other day when they were out and about at St marys for the bikies funeral that just passed. There was about 30 of them, 15 down each side of the road at the great western highway.

It was enough to make a patrol lover "soft"

For the riot cops to stand on when hanging on to the rack, heading in to a pack of bogans/crazys/whatever!

Along with the enlarged side steps they would be for the riot police to be able to jump onto the sides of the car, gripping the roofrack up the top so they can be rescued/transported around a riot. Chances of a crowd stopping 3 tonnes of patrol - nil. Best way to get through? Jump onto said patrol and hang on!

EDIT: haha davros beat me!

Red face

wouldn't want to get a puncher in one of those tires as it would cost a bit to replace.
