Can you give as much info as possible.

how many klms? G/box serviced x klms ago?
Any Mods, tires, does it always happen, only when cold, when going slow or only when starting
This started after the suspension change? Was it just shocks and springs?

Might pay to check if the rear coils are sitting in at the top in the correct position and check the rubber inserts too.

Cheers

Is the gear box moving due to loose or damaged mounts? thus causing vibration through the tailshaft???

Is the tailshaft correctly ballanced?

Is the tailshaft bottoming out in the slip yoke when this happens?

Was there any clunking noise on take off?

Is the Diff flange loose?

I would also suggest that this be done with the hand brake on and the wheels being chocked so the old girl does not move, plus you or someone can see the drive line move or flex etc, etc.

Good luck.

Talking

Well it took a while but I have finally fixed the vibration problem and it has taught me not to trust what the nissan service people tell you they have done to your car, The problem was they put what I believe to be the wrong oil in the rear diff, I replaced it on the weekend with Penrite limslip 80 -140 and it fixed the problem straight away.
Guess some of us learn the hard way eh.
And to add I have just fitted a snorkel and intercooler fan , What a difference this makes to the performance of the vehicle. Will post piccies later when I work out how.
