I am seriously considering getting a set of snake shackles when I can afford it. I noticed that the superiors have no brace either, which is why I was thinking of the snake shackles.
The snake shackles also looked like they were made of a slightly thicker metal, that's just from looking at pics though.

Yeah they are pretty heavy duty hey! Ive got front and rear set, and she rides quite nicely on them.

Hey guys so ive done a few test runs with the new cooler system and she runs some sweet figures.
*Making 12psi by 2000rpm & 18 by 2500rpm
*100 degrees lower EGTs
*Will accelerate up hills 110km+ where before i could sit 85-90 with a light foot for temps,
will not go higher than 500 EGT unless smashing it up a very steep hill
*Will do 130kmph easily and could keep going, this is only running a safe 13 psi limit and 2.5 turns of the 'on boost' fuel screw

After all these fun tests i decided to flex her up and lucky i did! Look what i found on my front drivers spring.. anyone had this happen? Right beside a broken spring wrap.

The intercooler set up is looking good!
Roughly How much has it set you back, if you don't mind me asking?

Not sure on exact ponies etc but id say atleast 20-30% more power than before, including the upped fuel. I could wind the fuel right up and make huge numbers but im looking for reliability and fuel economy aswell!

Cheers mate, 450 for the kit including all the extras. But id say 550-600 including piping and fittings aswell. I bought the frozen boost kit off a bloke who couldnt use it, so got it cheap.

Looks sweet as dude. Loving the look of clear pipes and the coolant! What kind of fuel economy are you expecting from it?
Pity about the busted leaf.

yeah I've had a busted leaf before, mine broke the main leaf in the shackle Lucky for the extra bit that wraps around the main leaf it held it altogether.

Cooler looks good dude, Got to be happy with it so far.

Fuel economy im hoping for 11-12L/100km but may need to put her on a dyno and get it done professionally for that

Yeah its a PITA aye, idk that much would have held together if this main leaf had snapped as there is no wrap..

And guess who has a rust free body! (3 actually, but the other two have drivelines...)

I think I found it on Gumtree. Grey and advertised for $3k?
No good about the rust and engine... sounds like its worth more like $1.5k.
In the ad it looked okay and he said not much needed in terms of rust repairs.
If I could get it cheap i would take the good stuff and wreck the body.
