Cheap all right , I got discs about a month or so ago, cost me 112 for disc and pads

I know repcoo are doing drums cheap, retail 160 something each, can get them for like 40 smackas, run out change of supplier.

Today i am picking up my MQ

It has been at the mechanics, i had it put on straight gas.
cant wait till i get it back home,
The mechanic was sent the wrong parts, so then he had to
wait 2 days to get the right parts, after all that the job
went well. 1 step closer.

Pressure washed it last night to get rid of the salt water and sand...
Looked at it this morning...can't be arsed going to pickup the new top set so I can fix the head gasket with a genuine one....

It will get done...eventually...

Also, inquired about a new wastegate actuator.

Looking for a new WAIC radiator now too!

1st post on new hard drive!
Brought 4 new Yokohama Geolander AT/S 31 10.5R15, old Simex Centipedes walls broke up when braking beads so glad I replaced them. Hopefully it will be a bit quieter on the bitumen now.
Shame about the server dying, lost my on-line diary of all the stuff I've done since August, I'll have to go through the receipts and make a hard copy!

Worked out why she wasn't starting after putting the head back on.
Hadn't bled the air out of the IP - The filter & injector pipes definitely had fuel, I just didn't think to loosen the bleed screws and get rid of the air in there. Now she starts!

Put on a new set of Bridgestone D694s, 275/65R17, for $282 each (fitted). They are sooo much better than the MT ATZs.

Cheers

Ray

Bonnet shuts now! Two hours with bars, jacks, bits of wood and heavy hammers, the car had been stacked before I brought it and the whole passenger front guard was, down an inch, back an inch
and in an inch. Inner guard still looks like a pig ear that the dog been chewing but its now nearly where it should be. While I had the radiator out I back flushed it well worth the effort and got a sh*t load of rust flakes out that didn't clear with radiator flush solution.
