been using them now for 12 years and always do oil/filter change every 5000kms

Yep I had an old ex prawn trawler that had an SD33 but it was Blue.

I have also heard of a 4 cylinder Nissan marine diesel too.

Hi Yogi
Do you know if Baldwin do a Z149 equivalent? Or if there are other brand equivalents such as Fleetgaurd or Donaldson.

Cheers Ric

Ric,
The yellow SD33s were Chrysler/Nissan built and the blue ones were fully Nissan built.
Mine is the original colour.
The 4 cylinder was called a MN4-33.
Mike

Hi guys was randomly searching stuff and came across this thread. Thought id post some official part numbers up for these Donaldson filters, seeing as it is often left forgotten WHAT THE ACTUAL PART NUMBER IS, WHICH IS THE CRUCIAL PIECE OF INFORMATION. Rant over.

Donaldson Oil filter for spin on SD33(T)
Part number: P555616
Price: $15.00AUD a pop from local diesel joint

Donaldson Fuel filter for SD33(T) (W/O water seperater or wiring)
Part number: P550057
Price: $13.00AUD a pop from local diesel joint

I maybe getting a sweet discount here as i shop there a fair bit, so not sure on average pricing.

Yep they are the ones I've been using for years. They are the ones I referred to as Wesfil as I think they distribute them. I pay around $14 bucks at Auto pro
