arhh batteries flat again they must be on last legs , moving it in and out of garage to work is not doing it any good

Is the lead from your batteries to your 12v step down converter hooked up directly or do you have an intermediary relay that only feeds the step down coverter when the ignition is on?

A step down converter will create a parasitic drain on the batteries even when you are not running any 12v accessories.

all are on igintion only,but I had side light left on drain key not fully off all night drain. dumb ass auto electrician leave stuff on drain, so they are on their last legs , charge again and look at it after around the world in May to sept

gotta say a massive thanks to this thread and all it's contributors, I had to swap out my leaky injector pump and had no clue (I'm a fitter welder also), read the help posted here and had it done in 6hrs, started first time, about the only thing I did differently is never used a puller on the pump gear, 2 bolts from the cover wind into the gear and push it off.
Would love to turbo mine one day when the wallet/missus allows.

finally changed the batteries , got another year out of them lots of recharges, looking for a intercooler now sort of when work allows ,
also trimming the top of the manifold to square it up mainly to ease a cooler on top,forgot to factor in the engine lean to the passengers side

all theirs years of hard winching found the mounting frame twisted one arm dips down about 3mm.
managed to pick up another pto for $700 complete even had wire rope on it swap the two over in the weekend ,

found the radiator catch bottle the lids outlet to open air was blocked,
it altered the pressures under running high temp and fill the catch bottle ,it never returned the coolant to the radiator , new catch bottle and lid to the truck running normal now

on going work on the dear front brakes overhauled , stops better now.
clutch started slipping on a the way home from club trip 3 hour drive home,so informed clutch it still had fiction lining left , but the oil from gearbox imput shaft oilseal didn't help ,so that was done the engine crank seal redone and new motor and gearbox mounts

lest it help you as i had some help when i got stuck.
added adjustable top arms to the rear diff to help line up the drive shaft angles.
fitted a better drivers door only to day found i didn't change the door locks over ,
