Default Abandoning HBMC for a lift?

Has anyone with a Y62 disconnected the HBMC in favor of upgrading the suspension for a lift?

If so, what are the preferred after market shocks?

I have an Armada and can't stand the factory floaty suspension (no HBMC on Armadas.) It's so bad it makes me feel a little queasy/carsick while driving and my daughter has thrown up about 50% of the time I've driven her around in the car - which was bought to drive her around!

I seen King is making stuff for the Patrols, so I'm assuming that'll fit my Armada - are there any other popular choices for those of you who have given up your HBMC?

Thanks!

Huh? You can lift the hmbc.
And no no one has disconnected the shocks as you would have to build new towers ect for the coils and shocks. I won't say impossible as money fixes everything.
Guys with the old stl models have the option to upgrade their set up.

Kaipo,
I understand your point, and it has nothing to do with HBMC. (references to HBMC will only confuse matters - as already is apparent by the previous response) You are basically just looking at a suspension kit for a 'conventionally' suspended Y62.

Plenty of good aftermarket suppliers for springs and dampers for Y62's with conventional suspension. In no particular order:

ARB 4×4 Accessories | BP-51 (Bypass 51mm Diameter Bore) Shock Absorbers - now available for the Y62
Fit My 4x4 - Ironman 4x4 - supply a kit which has gotten some good feedback from Y62 owners

These are only Australian suppliers - if you were to look more broadly to the Arab states, you will find a whole bunch of other suspension goodness to drool over

Sorry for confusing the issue, guess I don't fully understand HBMC - didn't really research it as my Armada doesn't have it....

Does Bilstein make stock replacement shocks yet? I've had great experiences will Bilstein products in the past.
