Is this not going to be a before and after kind of thing. my Y62 will not be going off road any more. My wife just wants to keep the thing clean and 4.8 for dirty work.

It's the wet season here im tired of washing the Y62. I just keep it garage till jan 2013 so I can complete all the mods. And to be real honest I love driving the 4.8 im finding it hard to let go.

Where are you, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, etc? How did you get the 4.8 over there and what did it cost? Cheers

I purchase direct from Nissan Philippines not the showroom..... Just need a good contact at HQ Nissan.

price landed all tax paid is the same as Dubai Arabian Auto's for Super safari and thats on both Y61 and Y62.

They will not sell 4.8 here or will they order it at showroom level. You either need to pay 100% in advance with Nissan, take the big boss of Nissan out for dinner or be married to one of his daughters.

Those guys are from my group. My group is exclusive only to Y62 owners. I'm not sure what their putting down at the 1/4 mile but I THINK someone had mentioned to me that a stock one was running mid range 14s. I could be wrong though. It's not drag season in Dubai atm but once it is in about a month or two. My group will be heading to the drag strip to try.

Drag Strip? Is that the Dubai Bypass road or the Sheikh Zayed Road

Hmmm, 300kw pushing 3 ton with the aerodynamics of a house.
16's at best would have thought.
