Default LS2 with Safari snorkel?

A question for the LS gurus. I'm going to be running a stock LS2 with 4 inch air box in my Gu. My preference is to keep my current safari snorkel unless it is going to be way too restrictive. Is anyone doing the same or is a 4 inch snorkel really a necessity? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I've got an 07 ute, not sure if that's an old smaller style snorkel. I wouldn't be happy if I lost that much power keeping it so I'll be looking at a stainless with a ram head. Not 100% sure what air box it will be but I imagine it will be very similar to razor2000's (but hopefully better quality).

I saw a picture of yours in another thread. It looked very nice but I am keeping my second battery in that spot.

Thanks mate.

I just moved the battery in the rear (Agm Type), as the AGM dont like the heat. So it kind of worked out well.

What sort of power are you looking at marking?
