Default Post your photography pictures here

Thought we might get a photography thread going for everyone to show their photography. Can be anything that is great photography but pictures relating to Patrol, 4X4, Touring, Outback, etc are preferred.

Please post only pictures you personally have taken or pictures taken by fellow forum members.

I'll start it off with a picture I like that was taken by stocky6409

I know that when Shane (Big red) gets on here he will post some great pics.................he has HEAPS of pics that are awsome and make you just want to get out and head bush

Depends on which picture your asking about as I use different lenses. I think in the landscapes I used the Sigma 17-70 f2.8-4.5 DC.

For the birds and wildlife I'm pretty sure I used the Sigma APO 50-500 f4-6.3 EX (DG version). But I often use other lenses as well though I'm pretty sure those would have been the lenses I used for these shots. Thankyou also for the kind remarks on the images. If you ever want to look at more I do have a website but I don't do alot of landscapes. I'm more into native wildlife and I have a love for Raptors (Birds of Prey).

Guys these are fantastic.
I am a hopeless photographer so I am trying to learn from you.
Info like what camera you use, Digital or film, lenses, Shutter settings, etc. would be really helpful if available and not too much trouble.
Keep them coming.

Cheers

Hi Thomo,
No-one is hopeless, it just takes practice/skill building and learning to understand exposure. I used Canon EOS digital SLR's and a range of different lenses and different brands. No one lens is perfect for any one type/style of photography. What settings to use well that all depends on the conditions and lighting at the time plus how you want the image to communicate to others.

If theres anything in particular you would like to know about or don't understand I am more than happy to try and help out. There are heaps of good photography forums about also which can be a great place to learn and share your images.

For those that like wildlife you can see many other images at my website PM me if you want to know the address as I'm not certain if I posted the address here would be allowed or seen as spam.
