Is Shock Topic for the Fox Shocks Smooth Body Remotes. 2,2.5 and 3 inch
Post up feedback and the size shocks your running and what was needed to make them fit. E.g Bumpstops or raising shock mounts.
Dual Speed Compression
DSC (Dual Speed Compression)
With DSC, you can adjust the shock's high and low-speed compression damping by simply turning the external adjusters.
Bypass is position sensitive. Can have different damping rates at different piston positions through compression/extension. Those dsc fox's give some external control over damping at different shaft speeds fast/slow hits. Google speed sensitive versus position sensitive damping.
I have had a few emails with Fox about these, and in the end asked them how they compared to the bypass shock. This is the response.
If an adjustable bypass shock is in your budget and you can fit that, it is a much better shock in terms of tuning threshold and we see much better results. It takes a little more time to learn about it and adjust, but it is a true adjustable shock.
Good morning, We have the prototype Fox 2.5" smooth body shocks with DSC at the shop now and we will be in Australia in June to test fit them and set up the valving. Then after that once everything is finalized and the engineers are happy and the valving is correct they will go into full production. Let us know if you have any questions.Thank you and enjoy your weekend..
Went for spin in a SWB fitted with 2.0 fox shocks and was very impressed , these were at 200psi and handled way better than my amada's which are still rock hard on road at 100psi
It's really hard to compare sometimes as the valving in the fox 2.0's differ a bit, most retailers valve each set to suit customers requests, everybody I know who had them seems fairly happy with them.
Should get some shims for your amadas Sim and play around a bit, chuck a flutter in maybe. Got nothing to lose.
One my friends paid superior to revalve them, he as the same issue as me on road , explained it to them. Got them back zero difference. He bought fox , problem gone.
The trip has been moved back.
KC Works Gu wagon might have first set of 2.5s fox in Australia fitted by down south motor sport. Cost is on par with kings 2.5s
Very happy with them SIM
But you could just look at getting yours valved and better oil in them

Was talking to pro deisel last week he recommended them but I'd like some feed back first.
As i can by king bolt ins for that $$ hard decision
Thanks

How have these FOX 2.5s done? I like the idea of high speed and low speed adjustment.
Are they available now? as there is no listing in the FOX web site.
