Default Lithium chargers

Hi,
Trying to work out if I should go with a lithium battery or AGM battery power setup,
Anyone have any advise, knowledge, experience?
Want to still have intergrated solar too.

I'd go lithium with a RedArc BCDC charger personally.

BTW, you may already know this, with lithium, there is a greater depth of discharge, so 100Ah of lithium is much more usable capacity than 100Ah of lead acid AGM. You can get away with a smaller battery.

yes, MPPT is featured on that device. So it should be, for a reputable company like Redarc

You could also have a look at Enerdrive as well, Their dc2dc charger isn't sealed like the redarc but it's fan cooled. Enerdrive Independent Power Solutions

Thanks Sherro1. When you say "sealed" you mean weather sealed? I have checked out the Enerdrive one and it looks fine. I like that it has the LCD display screen and options

The Redarc can be mounted behind the grill or other places outside the vehicle.
