General Information

I bought the Patrol when it was 2 years old. A 2.8TD. Was originally purchased as the tourer and family car. It served well for 9 odd years untill giving up. At 250K km's she was busted. After looking at a dozen different options, I decided on the V8. It was to good a truck to get rid of, and to expensive to replace.

6.5 Litre V8 Diesel. (should be factory!!!!!)

3 Inch mandrel system with straight through can.

Duel battery system. Full River120 amp hr AGM battery.
10 point Fuse box for accesories including headlight wiring with 3mm wire loom upgrade.
Roof console with 27 mg and UHF radios and map lights.
Water temp, Oil temp and Oil pressure guages above the single din pioneer stereo with 6 stacker.
Heaps of acc power points in the front. Camcorder mount on the screen above the center of the dash.
Canvas seatcovers, rubber floor tubs.
Cargo barrier guards the kids.
Custom drawers in the rear for the tools, recovery gear, etc.
Inverter, 2 fridge points, 2 spare powerpoints. Fluro light in the back.
And the Blue Tongue compressor feeding the tank with pressure guage and pressure switch.
The old girl has an ARB front bar with Rallye 4000 driving lights.
UHF and 27mg arials and sandflag mount.
Bollsy's rocksliders.
Safari Snorkal.
Custom rear bar incorp. towbar made from 150 x 75 x 4mm RHS. 8x M12 mounting bolts to the chassis.
Extendable work/reverse light off the spare wheel mount.
Chassis mounted 25lt airtank and air outlet.

A few dented panels and doors, scratches and scrubbed inner guards!

Starting to gain some character!!
Pioneer CD player and Ipod. Dash rattles and the kids singing "Tru Blue"!!!!

I'm running 285/75-16 dueller AT's on road. Factory, black powder coated rims.

Maxis Big Horn 315/75-16 MT's for off road. On Gecko Black Sunnies.
