I brought it about 4 months ago for $800 with no engine, also came with rust bucket with a perfectly working SD33.
Took the engine out and dumped the rust bucket. Stripped the entire engine and vehicle down and rebuilt the engine back up and gave engine and gearbox a bit of a makeover with a good clean and a new paintjob. New Heavy Duty clutch kit.
Engine bay resprayed and engine installed in the MQ with new mounts and after a bit of tuning she runs like a dream. Tidied up wiring in the engine bay and installed new clutch master and slave cylinders.
Started fabricating new mounts to install VT SS Commodore seats. Next up is to start on the custom interior :D
