I bought this truck earlier this year. It was an upgrade that had been long coming. I originally set out to find something tougher than the HiLux I had owned for the prior 6 years.
Originally having owned a Hilux and an HJ47 cruiser (plus a Sierra) I went looking down the Cruiser route again. However a mixture of poor quality used examples and a longing to one day switch to the (dark) side led me to a friend's Patrol that was for sale.
So the Hilux was sold off, cash handed over and the keys to a 07 ST Patrol ute were had.
