I have a 2010 model 4.8 and looking to get some extractors that only have the 2 o2 sensors, ive heard that the pre cat sensor's are responsible for the air/fuel ratio and just wondering what my options are for the post cat sensors, can I remove them?
So I have been looking for ways to improve the fuel economy of my 4.8. Currently getting 21l/100 in the GU3 manual on the highway.
I figured that if I could achieve more power without altering the tune I would effectively save fuel.
I ran the stock Patrol on a dyno for a base line starting...
I have a '93 GQ TB42 petrol/gas carby.
All in all a great car, but I'm getting a bit fed up with how gutless it is (as in planting the accelerator is just a leg work-out!). Short of ditching it for a turbo diesel, what other options do I have to up the power? e.g. engine conversion...

I have a 93 maverick ULP/LPG carby, want to get a new set of extractor anda new exhaust to give it a bit more kick, and increase fuel economy. just wondering what a half decent brand/type is and how much i would be looking at roughly.
