I've just bought my first patrol, a 98 GU 4.5 petrol (dual fuel) and I'm sorting a few things out.
First thing I did was get an ecutalk so i can keep an eye on how she's operating.
I think my viscous is stuffed - when the ecutalk is showing 90 degress the fan turns just as easily as...
I've got a aftermarket turbo'd gq and I am replacing the viscous hub and I've bought a replacement viscous hub with is the turbo model, I'm buying a turbo fan to suit the hub and I am wondering, will the turbo fan fit with the standard radiator shroud?
Also is there any difference...
I have a GU-2 ex 3.0 auto (kept the auto).
I put in a turbo intercooled td42 silver top from a GQ.
The fan hub was not working properly and the fan just went through the radiator on saturday, so I'm looking for all new parts to get back on road.

Due to a descusion we had in another thread i started about TD42 viscous hub fans, it got me thinking about airflow. So i decided to do some on vehicle tests.
