Well I'd never believe it. Here some pics of the 113000 km NGK plugs pulled from the wifes maxima! Not touched since the car was spankin new.

If they're platinums they are only 13 000km overdue. Some cars e.g. BA Falcons you don't have to replace them till 150k.

At $20 bucks a plug that is pretty good! Maybe I've had diesels for too long

That's a great result. I'll be getting some next change.
Years ago I used KLG plugs in my motorbikes. They could be easily dismantled and the terminals quickly cleaned. Haven't seen any like that for a long time.
