Hi guys wondering if anyone can help me out?I have a 98 patrol with a 2.8 motor in it, the problem I have is the bolt for the harmonic balancer has come loose and the balancer has chewed the locator keyway and notch in the crank out. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a way to repair it or if anyone has a spare crank shaft laying around they want to get rid of

you can remove the crankshaft and get another keyway cut into it but thats a rather large job.
how flogged out is the keyway groove in the crankshaft as you might be able to use some liquid metal as a short term fix until you work out what you want to do.
Do a search on this forum there are many people that have had the same troubles as yourself
