How long does a 97 GQ 2.8TD clutch normally last before it needs replacing. My clutch pedal is feeling a bit funny and there's no clutch slip yet. I've done 199,000km

thanks in advance

Normally around 200-250K, but it depends if it's had a hard life. I've found that the 2.8 (GU's) seem to get a noisy release bearing before the clutch is worn out. That's just my general experience from work, your release bearing may never get noisy.

Hard question to answer as there is so many variables in place.
Driver abuse, towing list goes on including part failure.
So anything from 50k to 400k.
But as mentioned above 200-300k is the norm.
