I am new to the forum, but my wife and I are planing a trip around Australia later this year. We intend to tow a 18' pop up van and so we are looking for something reliable to tow it with. We have been looking at Challengers for about $15,000 and Patrols around the same price. I have seen one Patrol I like, but the 3L Diesel is scaring me. The one I like has had 5 or 6k worth of work done on it, Turbo, injectors... Is it fixed or do you need to do all the other mods as well?
Whats the difference in fuel economy between the V6 Challanger and the 3L Patrol and one know?
