Hi guys, I really need some help! I am getting the fuel mileage of approx. 2.6 km/ltr and that's ridiculous. I have 3" lift with 35x10.50x17 all terrain tires, everything else is stock. Any advice as what can I do to improve the fuel mileage?

Spark plugs
O2 sensors
Check catalytic converter
New ignition coils
Clean Maf sensor
Check for cracks in pipework/headers
Do an idle air learn with Nissan Data Scan

Auto or manual?

Will work on the above and update.
What's an ideal fuel mileage I should expect from the TB48?
It only has 50K km on the clock.

It's auto.

Have you changed the gearing now you're on 35s?

I constantly get under 20L/100

I get 3km/l in my VTC. It’s even worse in the desert when doing big dunes.

That also seems a bit excessive

No, I haven't done any changes to the gear ratio. I think I need to do that as I feel it dragging for too long on lower gears.
Installed new plugs & cleaned the MAF
Examined the exhaust manifold, there are no cracks but the engine still showing it burning rich/lean

How are you measuring distance? If you just fitted the 35s with no other gearing changes, your odometer will be waaay off.
I basically set trip meter to 0 when I filled up the tank and then after driving a day I topped it up and checked the amount of liters I topped up by against the distance I covered between the 2 fuel ups.

No changes to the gear ratio was done.

when the diameter of the tyres is bigger than stock, the odometer gets wrong, and needs to be corrected in the ratio of the revs/mile.

ex : my stock PATROL has 265x70 R16 tyres
if I now run 285x75R16 tyres, I need to go to the site below and enter my data for both

265x70R16 => 659 Revs/mile
285x75R16 => 615 Revs/mile

So my odometer is wrong by 659/615 = 1,072.
When I read 450 km, in reality I have driven 7.2% more km : 450 x 1,072 = 482 km.
However, since the speedo is optimistic by about 7%, the speed displayed is now more or less right !

And the odometer error is even worst if you have bigger wheels, like 35" in your case
