Gday all I have a 06 Gu dx cab chassis with leaf springs under the ass and at the moment that mine rated leaves in it so it has very limited travel as you can imagine, anyway i want to lift it about 3 inches and get it to flex abit more but i carry all but a tonne of tools through the week for work, so i was thinking about getting some flexy leaves of sometype and put bags in for when i load it up. Is it a good idea or has any one else got any ideas??

The air assist bags will help with keeping the ride level. I've fitted a few Firestone kits (Airbag Man) to 2" lifted rigs with leaves as they make them for lifted rigs as well and are the best quality kits I've found. When you want it to flex more just let some air out and as you said you'd need some custom leaf packs for the lift/flex combo as well.
