Ford, atleast they circled the problem :)

Personally Id get a 350ci wreck and go nuts on US sites with the debit card, very very very nice stuff to be had with the $AUD at the moment.

i did this motor conversion in my gq patrol wagon,
i ran the patrol manual 5 speed using a conversion kit from dellow automotive which comes with the bell housing and engine mounts,
you will need to move your gearbox mounts forward 50mm to get the heads to clear the firewall and more than likely drop you top panhard rod mount to clear the sump, or you could use a dry sump to solve the problem,
its a good conversion to do but you will need to spend a bit more money on it compared to putting a holden motor in.

if you dont you will have problems with the back of the heads hitting the fire wall, otherwise you will need to cut and shut it for clearence. if you dont you will have to lower the motor witch creates problems with the panhard rod and the diff hitting the sump

I am running an EFI Windsor 5.0 in mine.
Did it 4 years ago. Was one of the first to do it.
Pretty easy conversion.
2" body lift is needed as the standard 5.0 HO manifold will hit the heater pipes without it.
Ill try and find some pictures of mine. It was in 4x4 Custom Action a couple of Jans agoo as well if you can find it.

In degrees no idea.
Just set it up so the crank was level.
Are you running a windsor or a Clevo? Mine is a Windsor , I can see that a clevo would hit the wall with the wider V.
